The Basics

To understand what separates a random group of people from a great team, we first need to understand some basics.

Basics about human behavior and relations. Don't worry, I won't bore you. In later parts we will cover topics like motivation and context in depth, but in this basic course we will cover just enough to build a foundation for you as a leader.

All the following topics build on each other. When there is no motivation or trust, you don't need to start talking about perspective — as people won't tell you their real goals in life. When the context is missing, your team members won't understand how to contribute.
