Transparency
Being transparent with your team is important, but as with everything, too much of it can also be harmful.
The more someone knows about their work they need to get done, the less guesswork they have to do. This increases teams autonomy and therefore productivity. Additionally, people don't waste time and energy with wrong assumptions. But if you are too excessive in sharing information without teaching people how to properly deal with the information, you will quickly overwhelm and stress out your team.
As with the context, be cautious in what you share and make sure it's digestible for your team. Depending on the maturity of your team, sharing too much information too early can also backfire.
In a lot of modern organization, information is freely available, also in early stages. But here you need to live in reality and be honest about how mature your team is. Is your team using this information for the right purpose?
You need to find a match between your organization's maturity and the level of transparency it can handle. Start with less information and share the information in a moderated setting. Depending on how the information was handled, you can adapt your level of transparency for the future.
